Quality and Performance Improvement Council

The Quality and Performance Improvement Council guides Leading Age Minnesota's work in the quality arena. Comprised of members and external stakeholders with expertise in quality and performance improvement, the Council's key focus areas include: identifying key performance improvement metrics that measure and compare the right elements of quality; mechanisms to share quality and performance information with a variety of audiences; development of performance improvement resources and dissemination of best practices.

Key Questions:

  • What resources should be developed or promoted to assist members in quality/performance improvement, facilitate greater benchmarking capabilities and align various required and voluntary QI initiatives?
  • How should best practices, quality improvement achievements and QI champions be recognized?
  • What input can we provide to MDH and DHS as they
    advance various quality initiatives e.g. QIIP, PIPP, HCBS report cards, etc.?

Meeting Frequency
Four meetings per year.
