Honoring Elders, Advancing Her Education

• As a child in Africa, Sheillah Marwa watched her father prepare meals for her grandmother, help her walk, and listen to her stories. Caring for elders was an expression of gratitude and respect.
  
  Today, Sheillah brings those values to her work as a nursing assistant with Ebenezer in Minnesota. Across memory care, assisted living, and transitional care, she has helped residents through recovery, offered comfort through a familiar song, and held a hand at the end of life.
  
  Now pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Sheillah hopes to provide a higher level of care, mentor fellow caregivers, and help improve care throughout her organization.
