Adult Day Services and Day Support Service
As part of the DHS Waiver Reimagine proposal, beginning on January 1, 2021, new clients on disability waivers will not be able to access Adult Day Services until age 55.
Individuals below the age of 55 may choose to enroll in a new service option called Day Support Service (DSS). DHS is offering a webinar for ADS providers to learn how they can become Day Support Service providers. ADS providers may hold both an Adult Day Services license and a Day Support Service license. The session will take place on October 21 from 2:00 – 3:30 and will cover:
- ADS and DSS definitions and descriptions
- ADS tiered eligibility criteria standards
- How ADS providers can become DSS providers
- How ADS providers can become providers of other services.
Registration for this webinar is available On TrainLink. For more information, visit the session information page.
