Be a Test Advisory Panelist to Review Nurse Aide Skills
The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) is seeking volunteers to participate in Test Advisory Panel (TAP) to review the Minnesota Nurse Aide Skills test.
The TAP process aims to develop a test that aligns with Minnesota-approved Nurse Aide Training Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP) practices while meeting all State and Federal regulations. In addition, MDH wants to ensure that the test provides a fair and balanced assessment for all learners.
Help shape the Minnesota nurse aide test when you apply to be a test advisory panelist.
- A total of 10-12 volunteers and four alternates will be selected.
- MDH seeks representation from various professional experts, including nurse aide training program instructors, LTC leaders, nurse aides, and individuals with academic and content area expertise.
- Candidates representing diverse communities, including people of color, Native sovereign nations, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer plus communities, and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
How to participate
TAP volunteers must attend one virtual review session on Wed., July 19, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. If you are interested in this opportunity to work with MDH and Headmaster, please complete the application. Applications are due June 23.
