DHS Offering Webinars on AL Licensure and Technology for Elopement
The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) is offering two webinars in February that may be of interest to LeadingAge Minnesota members.
Assisted Living Licensure Requirements
The first offering on February 19 brings together DHS and the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) to review assisted living licensure requirements and the policies and requirements of customized living (the payment program for residents receiving financial support under medical assistance waivers). MDH is the licensing and regulatory agency for Assisted Living Facilities, while DHS administers the payment programs for those eligible for financial support, as well as the Background Study processes.
