Employer Webinar: Next Generation Nursing Assistant

Employers can attend an upcoming webinar to learn more about connecting with nurse aides from the Next Generation Nursing Assistant or NextGen “barrier-free” training program.

NextGen – Train. Test. Work.

Minnesota State campuses are hosting another round of training, called Next Generation Nursing Assistant – Train. Test. Work. This round, the Minnesota Office of Higher Education intends for the program to have a strong “ready-to-work” focus. The third round of this training program kicked off this fall and more free nursing assistant classes will be offered next year.

This round, the program aims for every candidate to have a conditional job offer before taking their nursing assistant test. To help make this a success, the program asks employers to opt in as employer partners and will include additional time for employers to facilitate connections.
