The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) has posted to its website the recording and presentation slides from its Jan. 12 webinar titled Preventing and Responding to Influenza in Minnesota Long-Term Care Facilities. 

Minnesota has seen a record number of outbreaks in long-term care settings — 91 flu outbreaks have been reported in long-term care settings so far this flu season. 

The MDH website offers other resources, too, including a summary of CDC guidance intended to be a reference for use during investigations of influenza outbreaks in long-term care facilities, and a link (scroll to the very top of the page) that allows you to subscribe to receive an email when new long-term care influenza information is posted.
