LeadingAge Minnesota Foundation Receives $475,000 COVID Grant
The LeadingAge Minnesota Foundation (LAMF) has just been awarded $475,000 in funding to provide COVID grants to rural LeadingAge Minnesota members.
The purpose of the grants is twofold:
- To provide financial assistance and/or mental health support to staff of LeadingAge Minnesota provider members including assisted living, care centers, home care, and adult day programs; and
- To provide financial support to Adult Day Services members to offer or expand virtual or alternative services for their clients and communities. To be eligible, providers must be outside the 7-county metro area, as required by the funder who awarded LAMF this grant.
This award is in addition to the $740,000 grant received earlier this year to help members address the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. LAMF was able to provide grants to 75 members as part of that award.
The application process will be open next week. In the meantime, if you have any questions please contact Terri Foley, LAMF Program Officer, at tfoley@leadinagemn.org or 651-815-8137.
