Minnesota Caregivers – We want your stories
We are seeking passionate caregivers from around the state to serve on a Caregiver Advisory Group to help inform a campaign promoting careers in aging services.
A campaign for caregivers
The Long-Term Care Imperative (LTCI) is developing an advisory group of diverse caregivers from around Minnesota to help inform a statewide campaign for aging services careers.
We want to hear from dedicated caregivers passionate about serving older adults. Elevating your voices is crucial to advancing the profession. As our most trusted messengers, your expertise and experiences will be used to provide insights into the career opportunities and other rewards of working in this field.
Ten selected caregivers will have the opportunity to:
-
Participate in at least two focus groups via Zoom to provide insights into the career opportunities within the aging services field
-
Participate in professional photo and video shoots to create digital content to promote Minnesota caregiving careers
-
Represent the meaningful work of caregivers all around the state
-
Receive a $200 stipend for their time and contributions to this project
Caregivers include roles with direct care experience, including therapy and activities staff, licensed and unlicensed care aides, nurses, housekeepers, dietary staff, and others providing care and services within an aging services organization.
Get involved or recommend a caregiver
We encourage you to share this opportunity with the dedicated caregivers in your organization. If you are interested in participating or to recommend a caregiver in your organization, please complete this questionnaire by Friday, April 21.
