Minnesota Loses Long-Time Health and Aging Services Professional Mike Tripple

Long-time MDH staff member and BELTSS Board Member, Mike Tripple, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, following a brief illness.

Long-time Advocate for Minnesota’s Seniors

Mike will be forever remembered for his contributions to Minnesota citizens and especially the seniors of Minnesota. Since his retirement from MDH, Mike has served on the BELTSS Board and has been a leader in the development of the ALD and HSE rules of Minnesota. On his appointment to the VA Health Care Advisory Committee some years ago, then Governor, Tim Pawlenty, stated the appointment was made with trust in Mike’s integrity, judgement, and ability – traits that all who worked with Mike experienced consistently. Please keep his wife, Jane, and the family in your thoughts and prayers.
