A new toolkit from LeadingAge provides resources for members to better understand the impact of Trauma-Informed Care and how to best serve residents with trauma histories. 

While the toolkit was developed to help nursing homes meet the new Trauma-Informed Care requirement under Phase 3 of the Requirements of Participation, the materials and resources provide a solid foundation for all providers to create a culture in their organization that recognizes, understands and responds to the needs of people who have been traumatized.
