Lifeline and the Telephone Assistance Program are two programs that help make communication services more affordable.

Access to affordable phone service, whether landline, wireless, or internet, is essential to help people stay connected. Individuals who qualify can receive a discount on their phone or internet service bill.

Telephone Equipment Distribution (TED) Program helps people who are deaf, deafblind, hard of hearing, or have a physical or speech disability complete Lifeline and Telephone Assistance Program applications and provide a variety of adaptive phone devices to people who have difficulty using the phone.

Clients and residents may be eligible for these helpful programs that promote communication and connectedness for often isolated individuals.
