Tamiflu Available for States; Take Survey to Assess Need

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) is asking health care organizations to complete a five minute survey by Noon on Friday, Dec. 23 to assess the currently supple level of both generic and brand name Tamiflu. Only one survey per organization is requested. The better the response rate, the higher likelihood of federal assistance so please take a few minutes to provide this information to MDH.

The Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) has Tamiflu available for states in need. The stockpile is targeted for small quantity requests and would require an identified, specific need. There needs to be actual spot shortages first as this is to be used for a statewide shortage so you help to ensure accurate inventory of Tamiflu and its generic is calculated for Minnesota.
