Professional caregivers provide critical support to those most vulnerable to complications from COVID-19 – our seniors. They deserve our gratitude. Face Aging MN has launched a new #ThankACaregiver campaign to encourage Minnesotans to share a message of appreciation with a senior caregiver via a web portal.  

Submissions received by Face Aging MN will be shared on social media accounts, along with the persons’ first name, last initial and city of reference. The submission will also be shared with our network of aging services providers across the state.

Join the #ThankACaregiver Campaign:

• Follow Face Aging MN on Facebook and on Twitter (@faceagingmn).
• Share the #ThankACaregiver posts from Face Aging MN to your social media.
• Add #ThankACaregiver to your social media posts that show your dedicated staff doing what they do best – provide care, comfort and support!
• Share uplifting words on social media with the hashtag #ThankACaregiver.

We love seeing the positive, inspirational stories that are taking place in our settings during this global pandemic. We see your Facebook posts and Tweets – and are doing our best to share them with our network.

We would like to share best practices on how you are maintaining a sense of normalcy in your setting: keeping residents engaged, maintaining or boosting staff morale, and connecting residents with your families.
