Health Dimensions Group (HDG) has named Julie Flaig Smith as its senior vice president of community sales and marketing.
“I am excited to join the HDG team as senior vice president of community sales and marketing,” Flaig Smith said. “HDG’s managed communities provide exceptional care and services for residents and their families, and I am eager to help them build on that excellence by enhancing their sales and marketing strategies and execution. Enriching the lives of older adults is my passion, and joining an organization with that shared purpose is meaningful to me. I look forward to supporting HDG, its clients, and community leadership in achieving occupancy goals.”
In her new role, Flaig Smith leads the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies across HDG’s 58 managed communities in eight states. She is an integral member of the operations leadership team, overseeing the regional sales and marketing team and initiatives that strengthen occupancy performance. She will also contribute to the organization’s continued growth by driving sales and marketing strategies for senior communities and new developments transitioning to HDG management.
Flaig Smith brings with her over 25 years of experience in operations and sales leadership roles in the senior living industry. Most recently, she served as corporate director of sales at Ebenezer, one of the nation’s largest senior living management organizations. There she began as an executive director at one of their communities before advancing into corporate sales leadership. Prior to that, she served as executive director at Tealwood Senior Living, national director of sales at SmartLinx Solutions, and national account manager at My InnerView. Flaig Smith’s combined experience in senior living operations and sales leadership has contributed to strong occupancy outcomes across the organizations she has served.
“We are grateful to have Julie bring her decades of hands-on experience to HDG to help our clients and onsite leadership teams drive occupancy results,” Erin Hilligan, chief operating officer (COO) of Health Dimensions Group said. “Her leadership, creative ideas, and dedication to our industry make her a tremendous fit for HDG. We are excited for her leadership in strengthening sales and marketing performance across our managed communities.”
