Dementia Leadership Course: Expert Training Begins November 18

October 29, 2026

Exceptional dementia care requires knowledgeable, skilled professionals who understand both the complexities of dementia and the people living with it.

LeadingAge Minnesota, in partnership with LeadingAge Midwest, is pleased to offer the Dementia Leadership Course, a newly redesigned, interactive virtual training experience developed through a longstanding collaboration with Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center.

Beginning November 18, this four-session course brings together dementia experts to explore leadership and dementia care, ability-centered approaches, employee engagement in life enrichment, cultural diversity, innovative techniques such as improvisational theater, and the latest developments in dementia research. Participants will also hear directly from people living with dementia.

The course includes an ongoing networking component, providing opportunities for professional connection and shared learning beyond the educational sessions.

Designed for memory care leaders, administrators, nurses, life enrichment professionals, social workers and other team members involved in dementia services, the course is relevant across skilled nursing, assisted living and home and community-based settings.

The course begins in just a few weeks! Register now to take advantage of this unique professional development opportunity.
