Employee Retention Credit Potential Funding Option for Providers

LeadingAge, our national partner, recently released a Frequently Asked Questions document that covers issues around applying for the Employee Retention Credit (ERC).

The ERC program is part of the federal COVID-19 pandemic relief authorized under the CARES Act. It is the only remaining opportunity for additional federal relief funding for employers.

Employers with less than 500 employees impacted by government closures or experienced a reduction in revenue due to the pandemic are eligible to apply. While not all long-term care providers will be eligible, those that are can receive significant financial assistance under ERC.
