Leadership Academy Fellows Complete Action Learning Projects; Applications Open for 2023
The 2022 Leadership Academy cohort of fellows recently completed their program year and will graduate at the 2023 Institute & Expo. Participants design and lead an Action Learning Project (ALP) as part of their coursework.
The ALP puts learning into real-world practice by addressing a challenge or opportunity in the individual's organization. Some examples of ALP include:
- Reducing food waste
- Inventory reduction and management
- Training programs for dementia, general knowledge, and interpersonal communications
- Revamping resident admission, move-in, orientation, and onboarding systems
- Staff orientation and onboarding
- Overcoming unconscious bias
- Maintenance work order procedure and checklist
We look forward to watching the progress of these innovative initiatives.
