HHS Updates FAQ for Provider Relief Fund

HHS recently posted an updated FAQ for the Provider Relief Fund (PRF). The FAQ includes a number of entries about applying for funds under the recently announced phase 3 of the general distribution

(page 40) as well as information about the Infection Control Distribution for nursing facilities (page 55). One change of particular note is that the infection control funds can be used to “hire” infection control staff, which HHS is interpreting to include both hiring new staff and retaining existing staff who work in that area.
