LeadingAge Minnesota Foundation’s Onboarding Toolkit
It is with great excitement that we present to you LeadingAge Minnesota Foundation’s Onboarding Toolkit! Our goal is to help you build an engaging and staff-focused onboarding process. This toolkit does not address the regulatory-checklist side of hiring new staff. The purpose is to help you go over and above regulation to connect with people. The Onboarding Toolkit provides members with more than 50 resources that will foster a culture of team member engagement—resulting in increased staff retention and improved workplace productivity. This toolkit is based on quality improvement and performance excellence principles.
The toolkit is built around five different Principles, including:
- Welcoming a Team Member to the Organization
- Introduction to the Organization’s Culture
- Leveraging an Organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values
- Career Pathways and Role Specific Challenges
