Federal Immigration Enforcement

With immigration enforcement policies evolving, aging services organizations are encouraged to proactively prepare for the possibility of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity by creating safe, informed, and responsive environments for staff and residents. Immigration policy plays a critical role in long-term care and the broader health care system—shaping access to care for immigrant communities, influencing workforce recruitment and shortages, and affecting day-to-day operations.

As member organizations report increased questions and concerns across Minnesota communities, the below resources support employers in responding thoughtfully, compassionately, and in compliance with changing conditions, even as no ICE raids have been reported in senior living or long-term care facilities to date.
