PURPOSE

This EduCare training covers the new mandatory training requirement for mental illness and de-escalation. All staff need 2-hours of training on these topics by July 1, 2025 as established in 144G.64. If you use EduCare as your annual training program partner, this content is already available for you through EduCare. Topics covered include: 1. Mental Illness – Overview and Depression, 2. Personality Disorders, Substance Abuse, and De-escalation, and 3. Bipolar, Anxiety, Psychosis and Trauma-induced Disorders.
