Minnesota EW and CADI Waiver Program

PURPOSE

Medicaid waivered services programs are an important part of assisted living reimbursement, and as such essential to your community’s financial health and ability to continue providing appropriate care and services. Understand how waivered services are managed and what your organization can do to optimize reimbursement.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

•Understand waivered services programs and who is eligible.

•Review the customized living tool and elderly waiver case mix levels, and how to leverage these to plan and budget resident care.

•Learn how to provide input into waivered services determinations, the elderly waiver workbook, and request waivered services reviews.
