2027 Institute Call for Presentations
Proposal Deadline: Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 11 p.m.
Session Formats and Program Length
All sessions will be presented live either in-person or virtually, but not both. Having an in-person and virtual component allows our participants flexibility to meet their learning needs in an ever-changing long-term care environment. All sessions are 60 minutes.
The Call for Presentation Process is Very Competitive!
Just over half of the proposals received each year, are accepted into the Institute’s program schedule. Successful proposals meet the criteria listed in the CFP Guidelines PDF linked above and address a unique setting or audience need.
Required CEUs
- Cultural responsiveness and ethics-related topics specifically for Minnesota licensed social workers.
- Sanitation and ethics related topics for dietary/nutrition/food services professionals.
- DEI – for most licensed groups.
Target Audiences and Topic Ideas
Speakers will be notified of LeadingAge Minnesota's decision regarding proposals by the end of October 2026. All prospective speakers are required to keep the potential conference dates of Feb. 10 – 11, 2027 and Feb. March 2 - 4, 2027 available until notified of the status of their proposal.
