Sholom is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrea Horvath as its new Chief Operating Officer, effective December 14, 2025. Horvath has been serving as Interim COO and brings more than 16 years of experience within the organization.
Leadership at Sholom
Horvath began her career at Sholom in 2009 as an occupational therapist working directly with residents. She went on to hold several key leadership roles, including Director of Rehabilitation and, for the past five years, Ackerberg Family Sholom West Campus Administrator.
“Andrea’s long-standing commitment to Sholom and her deep understanding of our operations make her uniquely suited for this role,” said Jim Newbrough, Chief Executive Officer. “Her leadership during the interim period has been exceptional, and her dedication to our mission, our residents, and our staff will help guide Sholom through an exciting chapter of growth and transformation.”
Horvath expressed her enthusiasm for the opportunity:
“I am honored to serve as Sholom’s Chief Operating Officer,” said Andrea Horvath. “This organization has been my professional home for more than 16 years. I have tremendous respect for our teams and deep gratitude for the trust placed in me. I look forward to working alongside our staff, partners, and leadership to continue strengthening the care, services, and experience we provide.”
Horvath’s appointment underscores Sholom’s investment in leadership stability, operational excellence, and continued transformation across its campuses.
