2019 Assisted Living Certificate Program Spring Dates Announced

Mark your calendars for LeadingAge Minnesota’s Assisted Living Certificate Program. 2019 program dates have been announced (see below), with increased capacity to meet the unprecedented demand for this training series which graduated over 100 professionals in 2018. 

The combined housing manager and nursing manager course combines the best of two previously separate certificate programs to meet the current demands and expectations of the key leaders working in Minnesota’s assisted living settings. It explores the critical laws and rules with which such settings must comply, and its leaders need to understand; and explores where the responsibilities of each professional overlap and may conflict. The program is also designed to leverage the synergy that a shared learning experience provides. 

Spring Series Dates: 

• Thursday, April 25 (All)
• Friday, April 26 (All)
• Wednesday, May 22 (All)
• Thursday, May 23 (Nurse Managers only)
• Monday, June 3 (Housing Managers only)
• Tuesday, June 4 (All)
• Wednesday, June 5 (All) 

Late Summer/Early Fall Series Dates:

• Tuesday, Aug. 6 (All)
• Wednesday, Aug. 7 (All)
• Wednesday, Sept. 11 (All)
• Thursday, Sept. 12 (Nurse Managers only)
• Monday, Sept. 30 (Housing Managers only)
• Tuesday, Oct. 1 (All)
• Wednesday, Oct. 2 (All)

Participants must enroll in a single series. To accommodate demand, splitting dates across series is not permitted. The registration brochure and locations for each series will be sent to members soon.
