2021 Leadership Academy Applications Open

Applications for the 2021 Leadership Academy are now open. This immersive leadership development program begins with a June virtual session with plans to resume in-person meetings as soon as it is safe to do so.

Since 2010, Leadership Academy has developed leadership capacity and core competencies of more than 300 aging services professionals by tapping their natural talents and authentic leadership style. It blends leadership theory, applied learning, and personalized coaching to mentor current and emerging leaders in our field.

Applications are open through April 26. This year, the formal review and selection process has been waived and completed applications that include a signed statement of commitment from the applicant’s organizational leadership will be approved. Financial assistance is available.

2021 dates:
Session #1 Authentic Leadership: June 2, 3, 23, 24 (virtual session in two parts, 4 hours each day)
Session #2 Rethinking Thinking: July 19, 20, 21* (in person, Detroit Lakes)
Session #3 Motivating and Leading Teams: September 8, 9* (in person, metro location)
Session #4 Transformational Leadership: December 1, 2 (in person, metro location)

*Additional virtual dates will be added if these sessions become virtual – Aug. 12 and Oct. 6
