Argentum Announces Support for Employer Mandates of COVID-19 Vaccination

Argentum has joined the ranks of national organizations supporting employer mandates of COVID-19 vaccinations for the senior living workforce. The Argentum Board of Directors voted unanimously to support this action, and the organization has publicly issued a statement.

Argentum President and CEO James Balda stated, “Because vaccination continues to be the best way to mitigate the spread and impact of COVID-19 among communities, we believe employer mandates offer a step forward in the effort to keep residents and staff safe and healthy during this ongoing public health crisis.”

As part of the effort, Argentum will also send a letter to the CDC outlining the support needed to help providers keep residents and staff safe.

Additionally, Argentum has announced that the organization will require verification or proof of COVID-19 vaccination for the 2021 Senior Living Executive Conference & Expo in Phoenix, Sept. 13-15. This action was also approved by the Argentum Board of Directors.
