This week, Cassia has announced three executive leadership appointments in their organization. Join LeadingAge Minnesota is congratulating Cassia for these significant leadership transitions.
New Chief Operating Officer
Paul Libbon has been appointed as Cassia’s new COO. Paul joined Cassia in 2018 and most recently served as Vice President of Operations. Paul started his career in senior services as a nursing assistant, with 15 years each as a Nursing Home Administrator and Regional Director of Operations.
"I joined Cassia for the amazing people who work here and the culture," Paul says. "I am very committed to our mission and love our tag line of 'Serving all by following One.'" This transition follows the appointment of former COO Matthew Kern to the position of President and CEO.
New Chief Clinical Officer
Jamie Brady has been appointed as Cassia’s new CCO. With more than 20 years of experience in post-acute care, Jaime began her career as a nursing assistant and has since served in many leadership roles. Her journey reflects both professional expertise and a deep commitment to those we serve.
“I am passionate about quality and excellence for our residents,” Jaime shares. “I support and live Cassia’s mission of fostering fullness of life for older adults in the spirit of Christ’s love.” This transition follows the retirement of Sharon Wilson, Chief Clinical and Compliance Officer Emeritus, after 36 years of dedicated service to Cassia.
New Chief Legal Officer
Cassia is welcoming Krissa Mason to serve in the new role of Chief Legal Officer. This new role reflects Cassia’s growth in a changing industry and the organization's ongoing commitment to excellence.
Krissa brings extensive legal experience with providers in the post-acute space as well as experience serving in government.
“I am honored to be able to use my passion for the law to serve an organization that provides the highest quality care to those we serve with incredible compassion and integrity," Krissa says. "I believe Cassia truly lives out its mission every day and I am excited to join in that effort.”
