E-Services Now Available to Create and Submit 2025 Certificates of Rent Paid

You can now use e-Services to create and submit 2025 Certificates of Rent Paid (CRPs). By making 2025 CRPs available now, you have the option to create CRPs for renters who move before the end of the year. You must give each renter a CRP by January 31 of each year.

Click here to create a Certificate of Rent Paid (CRP). CRP’s must be provided if you own, manage, or sublet property and rent living space to someone during the year. You must issue CRPs to your renters if either of these apply:

• Property tax was payable on the property during the rental timeframe
• You were not required to pay property tax, but you made payments in lieu of property taxes

Beginning last year, it was required that you create and submit all Minnesota CRPs using e-Services. Below are instructions for establishing an e-Services account if you have not already done so.

Getting Started

You must have or create an e-Services account. When you log in, you can import your data from a spreadsheet or use a step-by-step process. After you log in to your e-Services account, select Submit CRPs on the I Want To... tab to begin.
