Elderly Waiver Provider Cost Survey Deadline Extended

Posted on June 4, 2018 by Jeff Bostic

The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has extended to deadline to complete the Elderly Waiver (EW) provider cost survey to Monday, June 11. The survey is an important step toward establishing the need for rate reforms, and we strongly encourage all members to participate.

The survey of the cost of providing services under the EW program is part of a larger study that is designed to validate and propose adjustments to the EW rate reform that are due to be partially implemented on Jan. 1, 2019.  The deadline will not extended further as DHS will need to review and use the data for a report due to the Legislature by Jan. 1.

More details about the  survey, including the forms and instructions, are available at: https://public.navigant.com/sites/MNagingservices/.

Technical questions about the survey can be sent to MN_Aging_Services@navigant.com. Jeff Bostic is also available to assist with questions about this survey, the larger rate study, or EW rate reform.
