In-Person MDS Training for Newer Professionals

Build confidence and strengthen your MDS knowledge with LeadingAge Minnesota’s Foundations for New MDS Professionals, a two-day intensive workshop taking place November 12–13 in St. Paul.
Designed for newer MDS coordinators and clinical team members, this in-person training provides a practical foundation for understanding the MDS process and its connection to care planning, Medicare requirements, and reimbursement.
Participants will build knowledge and skills related to:
- MDS completion and accuracy
- Care planning requirements
- MDS scheduling and timing
- Medicare coverage criteria
- PDPM fundamentals
- Documentation practices that support accurate reimbursement
The workshop will be presented by Marilyn Ramirez, MSN, RN, RAC-CTA, WCC, Executive Vice President of MDS Solutions, and will provide practical guidance participants can apply immediately in their organizations.
