Invest in Your Staff; Join Us at the 2023 Institute and Expo

The most impactful way to retain your current staff is to invest in their professional development. Institute is the best value for your investment, with the average cost to attend at less than $40 per person per day when you register by Jan. 4.

Your organization or service site pays a flat registration fee that includes attendance for all staff at that site for all six days of education (in-person Feb. 8-10 and virtual Feb. 28-March 2). Anybody can attend a single session, every day, or anything in between. The virtual sessions and keynote presentations are recorded and available on-demand through April 30.

Add an Intensive Sessions for even more learning

Three intensive sessions are also available for a deep dive into topics important to you, including quality improvement, survey preparation for success, and practical innovation for leaders. They offer excellent add-on value to your learning experience, and pre-conference intensives can be attended whether you are registered for the Institute or not. Separate registration and fee are required.

  • Quality Improvement Essentials for Managers, Team Leaders, and Department Directors (Pre-Conference Intensive Session A): Providing essential quality improvement information, resources, tools, and hands-on application to identify and address improvement opportunities within your department or team.
    • Tuesday, Feb. 7, 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
    • Member Rate: $135 per person (includes lunch, refreshments, and handouts)
    • Prospective Member Rate: $175 per person (includes lunch, refreshments, and handouts)
  • Survey Preparation: Managing Surveys, Understanding Deficiencies, and Creating Plans of Correction (Pre-Conference Intensive Session B): Manage your survey process, analyze deficiencies, and create effective plans of correction with the information, resources, and hands-on application gained in this workshop for care center and assisted living nurses and administrators.
    • Tuesday, Feb. 7, 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
    • Member Rate: $135 per person (includes lunch, refreshments, and handouts)
    • Prospective Member Rate: $175 per person (includes lunch, refreshments, and handouts)
  • The Innovator's Equation: 5 Practical Strategies to Move Your Organization Forward (Leadership Intensive for executives and leaders): Apply these practical creativity and innovation tools to build a personalized roadmap for your organization around the most pressing challenges, including COVID recovery, workforce shortages, financial challenges, and a consolidation-heavy business environment.
    • Wednesday, Feb. 8, 12:15 – 4 p.m.
    • $160 per person (includes lunch, refreshments, program materials, and the presenter's book)

The 2023 Institute & Expo is Feb. 8-10 at the RiverCentre in St. Paul. Find details and registration here. Early Bird registration saves $100 per organizational site on or before Jan. 4, 2023. After Jan. 4, regular registration fees apply. Add $100 if registering on or after Feb. 1, 2023.
