Election season is upon us! Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd, but starting this Friday (9/18) absentee ballots will be available for the
General Election. Once again LeadingAge Minnesota has prepared a comprehensive 2020 Election Guide for senior care providers: https://www.leadingagemn.org/public-policy/advocacy-news-resources/.
COVID-19 may make elections look a little different than previous years, but it is still critically important that senior care providers are engaged and remain part of the public policy conversation. The 2020 Election Guide includes information about how your staff and residents can vote, guidance and key messages for engaging with candidates, and links to request an absentee ballot or access updated MDH guidance regarding candidate access during the COVID-19 pandemic.
