MDH Publishes Revised Minnesota Food Code
Posted on October 3, 2018 by Jodi Boyne
The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) this week published the revised Minnesota Food Code. The revised food code is effective Jan. 1, 2019.
The food code contains requirements related to safe food handling, Certified Food Protection Manager and other personnel, training, equipment, cleaning, physical environment, and more. It is important to remember that several local jurisdictions may apply more stringent requirements than the State Code.
The revised language can be found on the Minnesota Department of Health website. If you should have additional questions, contact health.foodlodging@state.mn.us.
