MDH Releases Coronavirus Guidance for Adult Day Providers

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) has released interim guidance for Adult Day Services and Senior Day Center settings to plan, prepare and respond to Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19).

The steps recommended by MDH are like strategies you use every day to prevent the spread of common colds, influenza, and other acute respiratory illnesses, organizational preparedness, preparing your setting, and preparing and educating staff, volunteers and clients.

The interim guidance also features additional steps you should take if COVID-19 becomes widespread in your community.

Please review these recommendations and build on your everyday practices to implement the strategies. Access the interim guidance here.

We also encourage you to check the MDH: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) website on a regular basis to stay up-to-date on developments concerning COVID-19 and access resources to help you prevent the spread of the illness or respond appropriately if it comes widespread in the community.
