Nurse Loan Forgiveness Program Accepting Applications

Posted on December 16, 2020 by Jenna Kellerman

The Minnesota Health Care Loan Forgiveness program cycle is now open and accepting applications through Jan. 15, 2021. The Loan Forgiveness program is available for various health care professio

nals serving in high-need areas including nurses in long term care.

General program information for long term care can be found on the MDH website, and the 2021 program information notice, including the grant application portal, can be found here.

Grant applications can include repayment for loans, tuition, and reasonable educational or living expenses for past graduate or undergraduate education. Individual applicants must apply (not organizations). Please encourage nurses in your organization to apply!

Questions? Contact Angela Lofgren, Program administrator at 651–201–3854 or via email at angela.lofgren@state.mn.us. Members can also contact Jenna Kellerman at jkellerman@leadingagemn.org.
