Prevent Diversion of Controlled Substances in Long-Term Care

Registration is now open for the Preventing Diversion of Controlled Substances in Long-Term Care seminar on Aug. 13 in St. Paul. This 3.5-hour course will provide administrators and nursing leaders with an evidence-based overview of recommendations and best practices to prevent controlled substance diversion in their setting.  

The seminar is free! It will be held at the Wilder Center Auditorium in St. Paul from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 13. View the agenda and further information here. Space is limited so register early. This program meets the criteria for 3.25 Administrator Clock Hours and 3.90 Nursing Contact Hours.  

Safe Care for Seniors Organizations: This seminar is an opportunity to demonstrate implementation of Action 3: Participate in Collaborative Learning & Improvement.

To register, e-mail Bev Milotzky at bev.milotzky@state.mn.us. When registering, indicate the name of your setting, the number of participants that will be attending, and the names and titles of the participants.
