Safe Care for Seniors News: New to Safe Care for Seniors? Our 3-part Workshop is for You

Posted on February 17, 2021 by Julie Apold

We are proud to introduce a new Safe Care for Seniors virtual workshop designed for those of you who are new to the program. The 3-part program will begin on Tuesday, April 6 and continue weekly with subsequent sessions on April 13 and 20.

So many members have been making progress on the Safe Care for Seniors Action Steps, even during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, we know that there are new leaders, staff members, and those who are willing to become Safe Care Champions who are new to the program and may benefit from completing the full Safe Care for Seniors training.

A three-part virtual training session beginning on April 6 is designed to introduce Safe Care for Seniors to: 1) organizations who have not yet joined the Safe Care movement and are interested in getting involved; and 2) Leaders and Champions in Safe Care for Seniors committed organizations who have not yet completed training.
