Service Coordinator Resource Guide and Online Learning Tool Now Available

The U.S.  Housing & Urban Development Department (HUD) has released three new Service Coordination resources and tools: 

• Service Coordinators in Multifamily Housing Online Learning Tool;
• HUD’s Service Coordinators in Multifamily Housing Program Resource Guide; and the
• Multifamily Housing Finance and Grants Management Toolkit.

Service Coordinators in Multifamily Housing Online Learning Tool: Designed for service coordinators who are new to the program or experienced practitioners who want to refresh their skills, this self-paced, self-directed training provides guidance on how to run an effective service coordination program. The tool includes up-to-date information on program standards, video interviews with practitioners highlighting best practices and short quizzes to test your knowledge. Service coordinators who complete the training will receive credit towards ongoing training requirements 

Service Coordinators in Multifamily Housing Program Resource Guide: This companion resource guide provides training on the Online Learning Tool and an overview of what to expect during an on-site or remote review by HUD Regional or Satellite office staff. 

Multifamily Housing Finance and Grants Management Toolkit: Designed for grantees and sub-recipients, this guide provides supplemental guidance on fulfilling fiduciary grants management responsibilities.
