Shirley Barnes, Crest View Senior Communities, Re-Appointed to Governor’s Workforce Development Board

Governor Tim Walz announced last week that Shirly Barnes, CEO of Crest View Senior Communities, has been re-appointed to the Governor’s Workforce Development Board. 

The Governor’s Workforce Development Board works to strengthen the skills of Minnesota’s greatest asset – its workforce.

The Board represents key leaders from business, education, labor, community-based organizations, and government who advise the Governor on Minnesota’s workforce system. It also has statutory responsibility under the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, which provides leadership on opportunities and key workforce strategies for the state.
