Support Multilingual Learners with New Translated OnTrack Materials
Posted on February 26, 2026 by Anna Mowry
To help more learners succeed in CNA training, OnTrack Nursing Assistant now offers translated learner materials in Spanish, Somali, and Hmong — designed to strengthen comprehension and confidence.
While Minnesota Department of Health requirements mandate that live instruction and core content be delivered in English, these translated resources provide meaningful reinforcement for multilingual learners as they work toward nursing assistant registration.
Developed by the LeadingAge Minnesota Foundation and powered by EduCare, OnTrack was created in direct response to member requests for an accessible, high-quality, compliant nursing assistant training model — and has trained more than 10,000 nursing assistants across Minnesota since 2018.
What’s Included
Learners who select translated materials will receive the following in their chosen language (Spanish, Somali, or Hmong):
- Learning Journal
- Brief online introductory course
- Online test preparation course
- Practice exams
Together, these tools help reduce language barriers, improve understanding of key concepts, and support learner success throughout the training process.
Available for a Limited Time
Thanks to funding from the Department of Human Services GEAR Division and the LeadingAge Minnesota Foundation, translated materials are currently available at no additional cost for a limited time.
And don't forget—LeadingAge Minnesota members receive a discount on every OnTrack enrollment.
