When CEOs and Board Chairs Lead Together
Posted on July 23, 2026 by Barbara Landeen
For aging services organizations with governing boards, the partnership between the CEO/executive director and board chair plays an important role in organizational success. When that relationship is built on trust, communication, and shared leadership, the organization is better equipped to navigate change, make strategic decisions, and advance its mission.
That's the focus of One Mission, Two Leaders: Building a Strong CEO + Board Chair Partnership, a new in-person workshop on Thursday, August 20 designed specifically for aging services organizations.
Whether your organization has a long-established governance structure or you're building a new CEO–board chair partnership, this workshop offers practical strategies and real-world insights to strengthen one of the most influential leadership relationships in your organization. Participants will also hear directly from aging services CEO and board chair teams who will share lessons learned and successful practices from their own leadership partnerships.
Join us August 20 – and if possible, attend together with your board chair. You'll leave with practical ideas you can immediately apply to strengthen your partnership and your organization.

*The Early Bird Registration Deadline and pricing have been extended to Friday, July 31. Save $50 on each registration.
