2018 Adult Day Conference is July 17

The 2018 Adult Day Conference on Tuesday, July 17 is open for registration. This conference continues to be the must-attend event for adult day managers and direct care staff. New this year, two breakout sessions address and meet the training requirements for function-specific positive supports: 

• Preventing and De-escalating Challenging Behaviors
• Functional Behavior Assessments Tools to Support Your Clients

The conference includes breakout sessions on a variety of topics such as dementia-related activities, improving your bottom line, and an update on policy from Minnesota Department of Human Services. Returning this year are resources at tabletop displays. 

New this year, an optional Adult Day Services Celebration reception and dinner on Monday, July 16 at the award-winning Minneapolis Veterans Home Adult Day Center. The celebration is complimentary to LeadingAge Minnesota provider members (RSVP required).
