2023 Leadership Academy Fellows Selected

Fellows for LeadingAge Minnesota’s 2023 Leadership Academy have been selected.
59 leaders will comprise the largest cohort in this program’s history. They represent a wide diversity of professions, service settings, geographic regions, and organizational profiles within our membership. View the 2023 class of fellows.
Leadership Academy coaches
Supporting the fellows in their experience are eight leaders who are graduates of the program, carefully selected to help facilitate learning and serve as mentors to the cohort in small coaching teams. The coaches are:

- Amanda Gruber, Director of Life Enrichment, Three Links, Northfield
- Wendy Kingbay, Campus Administrator, Presbyterian Homes and Services Boutwells Landing, Oak Park Heights
- Rachel Staven, Executive Director, The Waters of White Bear Lake, White Bear Lake
- Brooke Zabel, Chief People Officer, Knute Nelson, Alexandria
About Leadership Academy
Started in 2010, 2022 marks the 14th year of this exceptional leadership development program, boasting more than 400 graduates. The program year is organized into four sessions, focusing on
- Authentic Leadership
- Rethinking Thinking
- Inspiring and Motivating Others
- Transformational Leadership.
It combines leadership theory, independent study, small group work, and conversations with seasoned leaders.
Through the year ahead, Leadership Fellows will learn, do, practice, visit with top leaders, and lead an action learning project for their organization. They will emerge as better and stronger leaders, ready for the opportunities and challenges that come next.
