Dementia Care Certificate Program Begins Aug. 29 – Register Now

The 2019 Dementia Care Certificate Program is newly updated and meets Minnesota’s current mandatory dementia care training requirements for home care, Housing with Services/Assisted Living staff and care center staff. This certificate series will not be repeated in 2019 – register now to ensure completion by the end of the year. T

To earn the certificate of completion, you must complete two webinars and a two-day workshop:

• Module #1: Overview and Early Dementia (webinar) Aug. 29
• Module #2: Related Dementia: What Aging Service Providers Need to Know (webinar) Sept. 4
• Modules #3-4: Person-Centered Care and Strategies to Avert Challenging Behaviors
  • Session 1: Sept. 24-25 or Session 2: Oct. 22-23
