Introducing Jessica Lacher: LeadingAge Minnesota’s New Director of Membership

LeadingAge Minnesota is excited to welcome Jessica Lacher as the new Director of Membership. With an impressive background spanning 25 years of service in various roles within provider organizations, Jessica's expertise and dedication make her a perfect fit for this position.

Her professional background

Jessica's journey in the human services sector began as a direct care staff, where she developed a deep understanding of the importance of compassionate care and support. Before switching to senior living, she focused a large portion of her career on disability services, driven by her commitment to positively impacting the lives of individuals in need of services and their caregivers.

Most recently, Jessica served as the Regional Marketing and Advocacy Director at Benedictine, where she played a vital role in supporting her region with strategic marketing plans and initiatives. Additionally, she spearheaded efforts to connect Benedictine communities in Minnesota with lawmakers, facilitating seven site visits during the last legislative session.

Jessica is a board member of the National Sports Center Foundation and the Center for African Immigrants and Refugees Organization (CAIRO).

More about Jessica

Jessica grew up in South Dakota but moved to Minnesota for college and liked it so much that she stayed. She shares her life with her partner, Mike, and a high school-aged daughter, Alex. Jessica stays busy attending Alex's many basketball, soccer, and golf events.

In her free time, Jessica loves exploring new places and cultures through travel, finding inspiration in art museums, and enjoying live concerts. After attending the recent Taylor Swift Eras show, she is unsure if another musician can top that experience!

Washington, DC (particularly for cherry blossoms) is Jessica’s favorite place to visit, with Alaska coming in second. Traveling throughout Europe is still on her to-do list!

As the new Director of Membership at LeadingAge Minnesota, Jessica is eager to connect with members and build meaningful relationships within the communities.
