LeadingAge Minnesota Recognizes 5 Members with Excellence in Practice Awards

LeadingAge Minnesota recently recognized five members with Excellence in Practice awards. The Quality, Star Workplace and Community Collaboration awards recognize and showcase exceptional progress in long term services and supports, serving as a platform to share promising programs and new ideas to help advance and transform the way we serve older adults. 

Quality Awards

The Quality Awards recognize progressive and exceptional initiatives that result in meaningful impacts to the resident experience. Congratulations to Sanford Canby Sylvan Court in Canby, Walker Methodist in Minneapolis and Walker Methodist Highview Hills in Lakeville. To learn more about their quality initiatives, read:

Star Workplace

The Star Workplace award recognizes an aging service provider who is creating and sustaining a positive work environment to recruiting, developing and retaining a strong workforce. Congratulations to Guardian Angels Care Center in Elk River for your innovative program to expose students to rewarding careers in long term services and supports. Community Collaboration

The Community Collaboration Award celebrates an aging service provider that collaborates with a city, agency, community groups or other businesses to support and improve the greater community. Congratulations to Essentia Health Fosston Living Center for an incredible and rewarding intergenerational experience that was delivered through the Life Story Project.
