MDS Education Coming Soon

The updated MDS 3.0 Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) user manual (version 1.18.11) was released in early April by CMS and will become effective Oct. 1. Watch for more information this month on our training timeline.
The revisions to this manual are significant in scope and will require organizations to stay in close communication with their software vendors, update their procedures to reflect added or updated questions, and provide additional training to staff completing documentation.
