MN–ITS Has Moved to LoginMN: What Providers Need to Know
Posted on June 18, 2026 by Kelly Conrad
The Minnesota Department of Human Services has moved MN–ITS access to LoginMN, impacting all MN–ITS users, including providers, counties, managed care organizations, tribes, and state users.
Providers who validated their work email address and phone number in MN–ITS before the transition should use the registration email sent from noreply_prod@login.mn.gov to complete their LoginMN registration. A user’s LoginMN username is the work email address used during the validation process.
Primary Administrators Remain Key to Access
DHS notes that users cannot create a MN–ITS account directly through LoginMN. For existing providers, the organization’s MN–ITS Primary Administrator remains responsible for creating, changing, disabling, and assigning access for Level I and Level II users. Each user should have an individual work email address and password; shared logins or shared business email addresses should not be used.
Providers with multiple NPIs or UMPIs may use the same individual work email address across accounts. Once registered, users should be able to access the associated NPIs or UMPIs through LoginMN.
If users cannot find their registration email, changed their email address, are missing NPIs or UMPIs, or experience registration issues, DHS directs providers to contact the MHCP Provider Resource Center or email DHS with “LoginMN” in the subject line.
